The MURRAY is our smallest marine engine having a 2 1/2" bore and a 3" stroke (65 mm X 75 mm) and is a slide valve engine.
Although it can be supplied with SLR in most cases it is built with fixed cut off and no reverse as they are used in small boats that don't really require such sophistication.
They differ considerably in there design and construction in that they utilize a circular aluminium cross head running in a cast iron trunk guide which supports the cylinder.
